Thursday Meetings

Our monthly demonstration meetings take place on the first Thursday of the month from September through to June inclusive.  They are usually held in the evening (7.30 to 9.30pm) but in January and February we meet in the afternoon (2pm to 4pm.) Members can attend free of charge and non-members are welcome for a small fee payable on the door.  We invite an established guest artist or craftsperson to speak and demonstrate a technique or medium.  During the year we cover a wide range of media and subjects and there is always something to inspire the audience.

There is a break at halfway through the meeting for refreshments and it is a good opportunity to meet with other members or to look more closely at the demonstrator’s work.

The demonstrations are supported by the use of a projector and screen so everyone can see what is happening.

Our December meeting gets us into the festive spirit with our annual Christmas Card Competition open to members and festive treats in the break.

Most of our demonstrations take place in Marlow Bottom Village Hall but occasionally we meet at the Scout Hut in Little Marlow.  Both have ample parking.
